The 15th of June is the 50-s birthday of Valery Petrov - creator and conductor of the famouse vocal ensemble ORTHODOX SINGERS.
Everyone is welcome to the Anniversary concert on 15th of June 2010 at 18.00 in Tallinn St. Nicolas Chirch.
In 1989 established a chamber choir specializing in Orthodox sacred music, which, in 2003, adopted the name "Orthodox Singers." Specialist in the area of early Slavic church singing and medieval music. Known as a promoter of Orthodox sacred music in Estonia and northern European countries.
The program of the Anniversary concert will include the best orthodox music starting from Old Russian chants till Orthodox music from the composers of 19th/20th century. You will also have possibility to listen Valery Petrov' sacred works.
